McNary principal is headed to McKay

Ken Parshall is leaving McNary High School to become principal of McKay High School.

According to a district release, Parshall has presided over significant improvement in school success since he’s been at McNary. Graduation and dropout rates have seen sustained improvement, as have student test scores in math, reading and writing.

John Honey will move from North Salem High School to become the principal at McNary. While at North, Honey helped the school implement smaller learning communities while maintaining strong identity and traditions for students.
