Cosmetics store signs lease at Keizer Station

Of the Keizertimes

Ulta, a chain of beauty product stores, has opted to locate at Keizer Station.

They are expected to occupy the southern portion of the former Wickes Furniture location at the development. Marshalls, a discount clothing retailer, has already signed to take over the remaining portion of the building. [MAP: 1]

The lease on the 10,000 square foot space was signed earlier this month.

Jack Steinhauer, director of acquisitions and development for Donahue Schriber – Keizer Station’s owner – said his firm is “pretty excited to finally get these guys in the center.

“It’s a great tenant to add to the mix,” Steinhauer said. “It’s going to bring a lot more synergy … Really, it’s almost like a re-grand opening. These guys are going to open fairly close to each other – Old Navy, Marshalls and Ulta.”

He expects the store to open sometime in the first half of 2011.

Ulta did not return messages seeking comment.

Headquartered in Bolingbrook, Ill., the company operates about 356 stores in 38 states, according to its website. Company stock is publicly traded on NASDAQ.
